Find a record that is missing from a list
Last Updated: 09/24/2026
A record that seems to be missing is usually hidden by a filter, a date range, the employee's status, or your access. Check these before you create another record.
Steps
- Check the company. Confirm you are signed in to the right company.
- Clear the search. Clear Search For, select Reset, and search again with fewer words, such as the last name only.
- Check the date range. Lists such as Tests can default to a recent period. Widen the period or the Test After and Test Before dates.
- Check the right list. Look in Active, Terminated, Applicants, and Removed Applicants as appropriate.
- Check the year. For random pools and selections, check the selected year.
- Check your access. Branch access can limit which employees you see. Ask your company administrator.
- Contact support with the record reference if you still cannot find it.
Tips
- Search before creating a record for the same person or event; duplicates are hard to untangle later.
- A test request and a completed test are different records on different lists.
