Tests / Test Definition
One of the main features of Med-Stop is test record management. The history of each test, including details and forms, is stored electronically for fast and reliable access.
The entire testing process—from the initial employee test request, to testing at a Med-Stop location, and finally to the certified test results (including MRO-certified drug test results)—is monitored and recorded in our system.
A urine drug screen is designed to detect illegal substances in a person's urine. For DOT-regulated industries, Med-Stop performs drug testing in accordance with specific federal regulations.
A breath alcohol test is administered to determine the presence or absence of alcohol or its metabolites in a person's body fluids or tissues. For DOT-regulated industries, Med-Stop performs alcohol testing in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The purpose of the DOT medical examination is to ensure that the driver has no medical condition that could interfere with the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
