Med-Stop Random Selection Service
The Med-Stop Random Selection Service is available only for random testing pools with a minimum of two members. If the number of members in the random pool drops below two, you must join a Consortium/Third Party Administrator (TPA).
Owner-Operator Requirement
An employer who employs only themselves as a driver is still required to implement an alcohol and controlled substances testing program that includes more individuals than themselves in the random testing pool. Therefore, an owner-operator must join a consortium to meet DOT compliance requirements.
